Speculating on the Final Concept Car to Join in the Volvo Trilogy

There is nothing better than a trilogy right? At least that seems to be the thinking behind Volvo's push to get concept cars into the spotlight. Starting last year, our favorite automaker began releasing new concept cars at important auto shows around the world. These special models have been designed to represent the brand's new design theory, engine setups and the new Scalable Product Architecture. Just this week, it was announced that we can expect to see the final installment of the Volvo concept trilogy at this year's Geneva Motor Show.

The event in Switzerland will take place during the second week of March, and we are already guessing what the last Volvo concept will look like. So far the company has yet to release a teaser picture or video but looking at the two previous models, we are expecting big things.

Last August we got to see the first car which was titled the Volvo Concept Coupe. It was defined by a stretched out hood and resemblance to the P1800. Then at the recent Detroit Auto Show we saw the winter-ready Concept XC Coupe. Now we are hoping to see something resembling an SUV, or a crossover maybe built with the brand's new E-Drive family of engines.

Be sure to keep up with the Volvo of Savannah blog to get all the details once the sheet is pulled off this mystery machine next month. Until then we hope you will take the time to join us at our showroom to explore our inventory of new Volvo models and even take a test drive. We are located at 8301 White Bluff Road Savannah, GA. We hope to see you soon.
